Dr. Robert Dietz will provide a data-based look at the economy and home-building market, including inflation, interest rates and the outlook for housing affordability, with a focus on the supply side of residential construction. 9:30-10 a.m.: Regional Outlook: DJ Summers, director of communications and research operations, Common Sense Institute, will present the institute’s latest report: The Cost of Homebuilding in Colorado — How Colorado’s regulatory environment impacts the price of new homes, including permit fees, use tax, impact fees, tap fees and dedication requirements.
10-11 a.m.: The Problem: Fees, Delays & Water. This session will explore the reality of what the building and development community is experiencing.

Fork Around & Find Out is the first Restaurant Week in Greeley history, introducing two full weeks of tasty tourism across the city from Monday, October 19th – Sunday, November 1st, 2026. The event celebrates Greeley’s diverse food and beverage scene by bringing new and returning customers to local establishments through curated specials. Restaurants, food trucks, coffee shops, distilleries, breweries, bakeries, and other food and beverage businesses in Greeley are thinking outside the menu, serving up limited-time specials for $15, $25, or both.
The City of Greeley, the Downtown Development Authority, the Greeley Chamber of Commerce, Visit Greeley, and other partners have collaborated to curate an event so unapologetically delicious, it’ll knock your napkin off. Given the diverse foodscape in Greeley, one week wasn’t enough—so a two-week mouthwatering tour awaits Greeley residents and visitors alike. The event aims to bring together at least 50 locations to sample from, with specials ranging from tasting menus to seasonal beverages to grab-and-go bakery boxes.

Families will experience memorable moments including Colorado’s largest bubble tower, face painting, balloon twisting, adoptable pets, local vendors, live music and costume contest, pet costume contest, the Ghostbusters of Colorado United, police cars and fire truck, Colorado Cars & Coffee (classic cars), Slapshot from the Colorado Eagles, and more! Each child will receive a free pumpkin and trick or treat bag (while supplies last) to trick or treat at all participating mall shops!

The Workforce Symposium is presented each year through a partnership between Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development and Weld County Workforce Center.
