Small businesses are vital to our economic prosperity, provide jobs and give back to the community in innumerable ways. Please join us as we continue celebrating small business with our Small Business Breakfast Celebration on Tuesday, October 18 from 7:30 to 9:00 am at The Lyric, 1209 N. College Ave.
We are excited to hear from our keynote speaker, Julie Weber, former Vice President and Chief People Officer at Southwest Airlines and now a local jewelry entrepreneur. Julie will share how the company’s courage to stay true to its core values has enabled Southwest to grow from 3 aircrafts serving 3 cities in 1971 to one of the largest airlines that now carries more air travelers flying nonstop with the United Sates than any other airline.
The morning will also include comments from Beth Walker, Dean of Colorado State University College of Business. She will discuss the different opportunities small businesses can connect to CSU students. Tom Hilbert, CSU Women’s Volleyball Head Coach will also make remarks.
Breakfast burritos and refreshments will be provided by The Lyric.
The event is limited to the first 120 attendees and is free to attend courtesy of our Small Business sponsors.
