Kevin Brinkman is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Brinkman, a mission-driven real estate development and investment company headquartered in Fort Collins. The company is focused on using business as a force for good through the creation of projects that generate positive economic and social multipliers for communities, families, and investors.
His professional background includes experience in civil engineering, construction management, real estate brokerage, development, finance, and capital markets. Today, he leads the overall vision and direction of the company. He fosters an environment that supports employee fulfillment, manages business and investor partnerships, and develops effective operational processes.
He holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
Kevin currently serves on the advisory board for the Institute for The Built Environment at Colorado State University, which advances the development of healthy, thriving built environments. Kevin has been inducted in to the Real Estate Hall of Fame at Colorado State University, was honored as one of the Top 25 Influential Young Professionals in Colorado by ColoradoBiz Magazine and the Northern Colorado Business Report’s 40 Under Forty.
Since the company’s inception, they have been honored to receive such awards as one of 50 Colorado Companies to Watch, Small Business of the Year by the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce, Colorado State University Everitt Real Estate Center’s Entrepreneur of the Year, and the Northern Colorado Business Report’s Mercury 100 Fastest Growing Companies for 8 consecutive years.
