Jack Storti represents individual and corporate clients in business transactions, claim and dispute resolution, and litigation. His clients stretch across a wide range of industries, including construction, real estate, energy, technology, corporate, and finance.
Mr. Storti has considerable expertise representing clients in the construction industry. He has advised contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, developers, and design professionals in transactions and claims arising out of both private and public projects. Mr. Storti has successfully litigated cases through bench and jury trials in state and federal court, as well as alternative dispute resolution forums, including the American Arbitration Association (AAA), Judicial Arbiter Group (JAG), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and U.S. Government Accountability Office.
Mr. Storti assists many of the same construction industry clients with drafting and negotiating contracts for a variety of projects and delivery models, including EPC, Design-Build, CMAR, and Design-Bid-Build. To name a few, Mr. Storti has structured, drafted, and negotiated contracts on EPC projects up to $2.2B in value; owner-architect agreements, prime contracts, subcontracts, supply agreements and purchase orders, master services agreements, and joint venture agreements.
Mr. Storti has also represented companies and employers in disputes involving: breach of contract; wrongful terminations; change order and delay claims; commercial and oil & gas lease disputes; commercial and residential construction and design defects.
On the transactional side, Mr. Storti has drafted and negotiated a variety of commercial agreements including Assets Purchase Agreements; Energy Purchase Agreements for co-generation facilities; Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreements; Residential, Commercial, and Mineral Leases; Licensing and Distribution Agreements; Employment Agreements, Nondisclosure Agreements, and Master Services Agreements.
