Legends of Weld County – Weld Community Foundation

Each year, the Weld Community Foundation’s Spread the Good Luncheon brings our community together in a unique way, celebrating the spirit of philanthropy through inspiring experiences.

There are stories that carry across generations—of the courage of those who first arrived, the vision of those who built, and the quiet faithfulness of those who chose to stay and serve.

In celebration of Colorado’s 150th birthday and our nation’s 250th, the Weld Community Foundation is honored to present Legends of Weld County, the theme of this year’s Spread the Good Luncheon. Through storytelling, music, poetry, and Chautauqua-style performance, we will encounter the lives of pioneers, founders, and community-builders whose courage shaped the land and people we know today. These living portraits of history will invite us to reflect on where we have come from and the enduring spirit that continues to guide our community forward.
