Homeward Alliance/Health District of Northern Colorado, Fort Collins, for a 24/7 day and overnight shelter at the Northside Aztlan Community Center during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Truswell will retire at the end of 2022. During her tenure, the organization has increased fundraising from about $500,000 to $4 million to $5 million annually. She has been integral in many nonprofit fundraising efforts, as well as disaster-recovery initiatives.

For helping meet the needs of the underprivileged and food-deprived in Weld County.

For its efforts aimed at tackling climate change.

For providing free services to multiple nonprofit organizations, including Outreach Fort Collins and Off the Hook Arts, as well as the Fort Collins Downtown Business Association.
